How many people are entitled to travel on this vacation offer?
The Tahiti Bonus Travel offer was designed for
up to four (4) passengers to travel together.
You are entitled to purchase two fully paid
tickets and two tickets at the 50% discount
for the same itinerary. If you have more than
four people traveling at the same time, one
of our knowledgeable agents will be happy to
help you with any additional airline reservations
you might require at the time of booking. We want to take our children with us. Can they get the same airfare?
As long as it does not exceed the maximum number
of passengers (four for this offer) you may purchase
for children too. How much will the tickets cost?
Rates vary depending on the time of year and
the availability for the dates you select. I saw a deal on-line for Tahiti; can you get me that same airfare?
We will book you the lowest non-promotional
airfare through our contracted suppliers at
the time of your travel. Just remember that
you will be saving 50% off the second ticket. Where do I fly into when I arrive in Tahiti?
You will arrive at the capital city of Papeete
on the northwest coast of the island of Tahiti. If I want to visit other islands, how do I get there?
Inter island travel within the islands of French
Polynesia is easy. They offer modern airstrips,
well-paved highways, boats and ferries, and
a bus system. Most methods of transport are
affordably priced and even though you are on
an island, they tend to run on time. There are
also plenty of taxis, referred to as "Le
Truck" which are usually mini-trucks with
seats in the back. How long does it take to get there from Los Angeles?
Tahiti is just a 7 1/2-hour flight from Los
Angeles. The island is situated just south of
the equator, about half way between Australia
and South America. Tahiti is in the same time
zone as Hawaii, but since it is in the Southern
Hemisphere, the seasons are reversed. Do you take care of my hotel and car?
This Bonus offer is only for discount airfare from

may have. What if I decide to stay longer than I originally purchased? Will that be OK?

All passengers entering French Polynesia must
possess a valid passport and an outbound ticket.
(Your passport must be valid for six (6) months
beyond your scheduled return date.) A United
States "Green Card" is not considered
a travel document. My minor children are going too. Do they need a passport?
All travelers will be required to provide a
passport. Where can I get a passport or travel visa?
You may want to visit the web site www.state.gov.
This site provides information on how to obtain
either of these documents. If you do not have
access to the Internet, check with your local
United States Post Office for the location near
you that has a Passport Office. How long can I stay in Tahiti?
United States citizens may stay no more than
one (1) month without a visa. Visitors of other
nationalities should check with their nearest
French Consulate or Embassy for travel requirements. Do I have to get any shots before I go?
Currently no immunizations against local disease are required to enter Tahiti. What currency do they use in Tahiti?
The currency in Tahiti is the Central Pacific
Franc. The currency code is "XPF."
Please contact your local bank for the rate
of exchange and any other questions you may
have on how to obtain the Central Pacific Franc.
You should change your currency into CFP when
you get to Tahiti. Money can be exchanged at
the airport bank upon arrival, even in the middle
of the night, or later at a bank in any island
(banks charge a service fee). Hotels and some
businesses will change your currency, but not
at the bank rate. Can I use American currency in Tahiti?
Some establishments will accept United States
dollars. But it is much easier to conclude transactions
if you have exchanged currency to the Central
Pacific Franc. Can I use my credit card or traveler's check?
Most credit cards are widely accepted and cash
advances can be obtained from a bank. You will
be required to show your passport to cash a
traveler's check. What is the weather like in Tahiti?
Since Tahiti is a tropical area, it is subject
to rainstorms throughout the year. There is
no "dry" season, and it may rain at
anytime. However, there are no monsoons or cyclones
and there is a LOT of sunshine. During the months
of October through the end of March, it is considered
their wet season. From April through September
it is generally drier. What kind of clothes should I pack?
Casual style and since it is a warm climate
your clothing choices should be light. The evenings
also remain mild and you will seldom need more
than a light wrap. Don't forget plenty of sunscreen.
Tahiti is two (2) hours behind Pacific Standard
Time. (Make it three (3) hours during the summer.)

Yes, in order to receive this special airfare
discount, you are required to depart from Los
Angeles. We will be happy to arrange for travel
to/from your home city if requested. You will
be responsible for the additional fare for these
tickets. If you'd like to spend time in either the
San Diego or Los Angeles area before or after your
trip to Tahiti, let your travel agent know.

rates will be utilized to book your stay. What airlines will I be flying on?
We use many different airlines with regularly
scheduled service to Tahiti from Los Angeles.
These include Air Tahiti Nui and Hawaiian Airlines,
to name a few. Can I choose the airline I want to fly?
Our preferred airline partners make these low
rates available to our valued clients. I have frequent flyer miles on another airline; will I be able to upgrade?
Unfortunately, due to the special low rate,
available only to Holiday Passports Platinum owners, upgrades
are not permitted. What is there to do in Tahiti?
There is something for everyone in this tropical
paradise. There is snorkeling, diving, fishing,
shark feeding boat trips, biking, horseback
riding, tennis, surfing, windsurfing, and tours
to local ruins, plantations and other vistas.
On Moorea, you can even sign up for a Dolphin
Quest experience and actually swim with the
dolphins! Can I rent a car while I am there?
Yes. Just ask your agent when he or she contact you
to plan your vacation. Traffic is on the right. What language is spoken in Tahiti?
The official languages of French Polynesia are
French and Tahitian, though most tourism staff
speak English. If I register after the 45 days, will I still be able to travel?
We must travel the people that have complied
with the registration deadlines first, but we
will always try to fulfill your travel requests.
Just remember that everything is based on space
availability, so it is a good idea to register
early. Remember! Registering your Holiday Passports Platinum
does not obligate you to travel. How soon after we register will our travel plans be confirmed?
Receipt of your request will be acknowledged
within 14 days and you will be confirmed as
soon as possible. How soon after I am confirmed do I have to pay for my trip?

usually due within 24 hours of confirmation
of your reservation. Your agent will go over
all the details once you are confirmed. This

plans. Our inventory is capacity controlled.
In order for us to maintain these exceptionally
low fares, we must pay for the seats when confirmed. After I arrive in Tahiti, how do I get to my hotel?

The letter you received was an acknowledgment
letter to let you know we received your request.
You will not receive a confirmation letter until

hours to guarantee the reservation. What is CSA Travel Protection Insurance?
This provides you with coverage in the event
